Housing and Capital Department
The Kwakiutl Housing and Capital Department is under the direction of the Housing and Capital Manager. The Department is responsible for the administration of housing renovation and repair initiatives, as well as new housing construction, when such construction occurs. In the Capital area, the Manager develops initiatives to improve water and sewer services in Fort Rupert, as well as the extension of such services to currently unserviced areas of the community. The Manager also assumes a number of related responsibilities, including participation in the Fort Rupert Emergency Preparedness planning.
