Depuration Project
The first harvest from the depuration facility was sent down to the North Island lab for the testing last Wednesday. Just visually the crew noticed the change in colour and smell; it was an awesome to see. I will have the results this week. I will inform all in the next news letter.
Beach Clean up at the Bluff
Tentatively this clean up will be set for Wednesday 2 pm, but may change due to weather. There is a pond sitting on the bottom of the ocean as well as a pond net and we need to retrieve it. As well as foam all over the beach which needs to be picked up. The Western Sunrise as well as the AFS Punt will be used to do the clean up. Please if you can come donate your time to clean this up will be appreciated.
So far there are 4 volunteers. Please call if you like to help and I will give you the time and place to be.
